Dr. Christie Smirl, spiritually known as Kalavati Devi, believes that every person is capable of establishing a healthier alignment between mind, body and soul through the multidimensional healing modalities of Ayurveda, Shamanism, Tantra and Yoga. Dr. Christie Smirl is a Doctorate of Ayurvedic Medicine, Master of Science and Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of acute care hospital experience. As a Professor of Yoga, teacher of Self-Realization, Reiki Master Trainer and owner of Healthier Vibrations Ayurveda Yoga Awakening Program, she combines hard sciences with spiritual and ritual immersion experiences. Dr. Smirl has been practicing yoga for 30 years and is a certified Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher ERYT500 – YACEP and operates a Registered Yoga Alliance School (RYS 500). She has hosted and lead Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation retreats, certifications and workshops in Rishikesh India, at Southern California University of Health Sciences, American University of Complementary Medicine, Big Bear Yoga Festival, Green Tara Yoga, Buddha Mouse Emporium, Waterman Convalescent Hospital, St. Bernardine Hospital, Open Door Yoga School, HealthierVibrations Yoga School and the Sri Maa Yoga School by Guru Adishakti Maa.

Dr. Christie Smirl (Kalavati Devi) offers year round programs, (in persona and online) for Yoga Teacher Training, Meditation Teacher Training and Reiki. She offers Spiritual Development Mentorship to students seeking individualized guidance, instruction and support through Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra and Shamanism to empower and transform towards Self-actualization.
