The Dashamahavidya Gita – Songs to the Tantrick Mother is an exposition dedicated to Kali Maa, The Great Black Mother. This tome contains sacred prose in the form of gitas (songs), art, praxis and ritual dedicated to the Dashamahavidyas, the ten tantrick Wisdom Goddesses of Kali Maa. Readers are invited to practice lectio devina by reading each gita and invokation slowly then out loud to manifest Kali Maa through spoken word.
The Mahavidyas of Kali Maa unleash latent accumulated power bound to the shadow self so that it can be converted and directed towards achieving inner peace and one’s true Will. This process requires sacrifice; sacrifice of the limiting aspect of the ego; sacrifice of inner demons as well as sacrifice of one’s gifts, talents, bhakti, time and energy back to the great Mother. *PREFACE by Guru Baba Krishnakali Das Aghori “Kalavati Devi is not only a gifted artist and poet but also a dedicated practitioner of Tantra and an assiduous devotee of the Divine Mother as Kali Maa. Alright, Christie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Over the course of your career, have you ever experienced a complete flip-flop? Traditional Western Medicine was my dharmic and career path for over 30 years. When I was a tiny child, I knew that I wanted to go into a healing profession. At age 15, I got a weekend hospice job caring for a terminally ill woman with cancer, then at age 19, I started working at St. Bernardine’s Hospital. First, I was just a nurse’s aide (CNA), then I graduated from CSUSB as a nurse (RN). Soon, I returned to Loma Linda University and graduated as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Master of Science. I remained at the same hospital till late 2019. Exhausted mentally, physically and spiritually, I took a 3-month sabbatical to pursue ..... read full article at CANVASREBEL |
The lyrical prose of Father’s Return perforated the ethers as an unremitting impetus in late October 2021. Ink surged onto parchment as Zrera emitted his magniloquence, evoking a new cognizance and alignment with the cosmic Father. Riddle like phrases and cryptic expressions contended with my psyche and provoked a renewed personal edict. As petitioned, the passages are being shared to inspire others into song, sound and sadhana. Currently, I am collaborating to orchestrate Father’s Return as a spoken word project intertwined with ambient experimental music. The publication of Father's Return through Zazen is SOLD OUT.

“Deep within shunya, She pulses ra- diations from the void. Emanations from The Dark Mother are raw and pure, capable of inducing radical transmutation and purification from maya. Invoking Kali Maa can elicit unforeseeable and erratic sequelae. Proper praxis will awaken Her full spectrum agni, creating a multidimensional cascade towards kaivalya and swarupa. Practitioners who embrace Kali Maa as ishtadevata sacrifice in totality to reach moksha. Anything less than full surrender, results in sufferance from karmic vitiations and torment rising from the uncured ego. Ishvara pranidhana yields the highest possible liberation from samskara leading to ultimate samsara.... "After 30 years of studying science and practicing acute care medicine my life took a deep shift towards art, music and writing. January 2020, just before COVID spread to the US, I took a full sabbatical from my hospital career and immersed all my energy into writing, devotional music and spiritual art. I often tell people that we are all here to contribute our own unique expression and life mission. Creative education and spirituality are my top two inspirations, and the inspiration in overflowing into black and red inked images, songs, poetry and books." FULL ARTICLE HERE
"From the age of 4, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same, that I wanted to be a healer. During high school, I focused heavily on pre-med preparatory classes and landed my first job at age 16 caring for an elderly woman with terminal cancer. I loved making people feel better physically and emotionally. By age 24 I graduated from California State University of San Bernardino with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and worked in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Bernadine Medical Center. Soon after..."
